**Alloy 20 Slip On Flanges** are constructed from a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that is also referred to as Carpenter 20 or Alloy 20 (UNS N08020). The alloy consists of 32–38% nickel, 19–21% chromium, 3–4% copper, and trace amounts of molybdenum and niobium. It exhibits superior resistance to sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and chloride stress corrosion cracking. Its mechanical properties are tensile strength of approximately 620 MPa and yield strength of about 300 MPa. Slip on flanges are constructed to slide over the pipe and are fillet welded on ID and OD to facilitate easy alignment and a sound, sealed coupling.
