Super Duplex Steel Plate Flanges are generally made of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–5% molybdenum, nitrogen, and minor amounts of manganese, silicon, and carbon. These flanges have better mechanical properties with tensile strength up to 800 MPa, yield strength of about 550 MPa, and very good impact resistance. The austenitic-ferritic dual-phase microstructure increases resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These flanges are renowned for their excellent performance in chloride-rich and aggressive conditions. Their high strength and corrosion resistance properties make them perfect for use in high-stress and critical applications.
