Super Duplex Steel RTJ Flanges are primarily composed of chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), and nitrogen, offering excellent corrosion resistance and strength. They exhibit a dual-phase microstructure of austenite and ferrite, providing enhanced mechanical properties. Typical tensile strength is around 800–950 MPa, with a yield strength of 550 MPa. The flanges maintain excellent impact toughness even at sub-zero temperatures. Their high PREN (Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number) above 40 ensures resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in harsh chloride environments, making them ideal for offshore and high-salinity applications.
