Super Duplex Steel Weld Neck Flanges contain a balanced combination of chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), nitrogen, and traces of manganese, silicon, and carbon. Super Duplex Steel Weld Neck Flanges have superior mechanical properties like tensile strength of up to 800 MPa and yield strength of about 550 MPa. Metallurgical structure contains both austenitic as well as ferritic phases, providing better resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. With excellent toughness and fatigue strength at low temperatures as well, such flanges provide outstanding performance in extreme service conditions, for which they are perfectly suited for use in important piping systems.
