Hastelloy Flat Flanges consist of high-performance nickel-based alloys like Hastelloy C22, C276, and C2000. These alloys consist of 50–60% nickel content with chromium, molybdenum, and iron exhibiting superb resistance against large numbers of corrosive chemicals, such as strong oxidizers, chlorides, and acidic media. The mechanical properties are tensile strength up to 790 MPa and yield strength of about 355 MPa. These flanges are highly formable, weldable, and retain structural integrity at high temperature and pressure. Flat face design guarantees equal gasket compression, so they are best suited for low-pressure, non-critical pipe connections.
