Stainless Steel 310 flanges consist of 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, which provides high temperature strength and superior resistance to oxidation and scaling up to 1100°C (2012°F). This austenitic stainless steel is excellent in terms of ductility, weldability, and cryogenic toughness. Mechanically, 310 flanges possess a tensile strength of about 520 MPa and a yield strength of about 205 MPa. The alloy is structurally stable under thermal cycling and in carburizing conditions and can be used for long exposure to high heat and thermal stress without deformation or degradation.
